“SEEK HIM FIRST” PRAYER GATHERING

Crestview will focus the entire service on connecting with God and others – a time of praise, worship music, prayer and participation in the Lord’s Table – Sunday, September 19th.

We’ll pray for: our country, state and local communities and leaders, our church and well-being of our families, God’s provision of jobs and finances, unsaved family and friends. Following the Prayer Gathering, we’ll hold a BBQ Meal for the entire church in our newly tiled Cafe and the Bridge, as well as outdoors, weather permitting.

MISSIONS IN ECUADOR

Jenni Scroggins will begin Missions Training with Youth World on September 12th in Quito, Ecuador – serving in the orphanage, taking classes in Spanish culture and language, and presenting the gospel on a two-week jungle missions trip.

If you would like to help support her in the $6,500 cost write a check to Crestview, and designate for Ecuador Mission Trip.

($1,370 has already been given, thank you!)

DISCOVERY 101 CLASS

“Discovering My Relationship with Christ” is the focus of Discovery 101, which will be held Sunday, September 26th. This class is helpful in knowing more about CBC, its beliefs, and opportunities for participation. You’ll also become more acquainted with other newcomers at CBC.

The class, led by Pastor Greg, will begin immediately after the morning service, will include lunch, and will conclude by 2:30 pm. Please RSVP on your ComCard. Also, indicate if you will need childcare.

NEW CAFE FLOORING

The CBC Cafe has been re-floored with vinyl tile, which is now in the process of being sealed and finished. We anticipate being able to use it within the next week or two. We are grateful for Albert Covarrubias and his boy scout troop for their donation of materials and labor which made it possible to re-floor the Cafe.

We’re also thankful for Jason Salazar who did the flooring on the back half of the Cafe on short notice.

WELCOME MINISTRY

A Planning Meeting will be held Sunday, August 8 , 11:30 am, following the morning service – to expand the renewed Welcome Ministry.

DEFENDING YOUR FAITH

The New “Defending Your Faith” Group begins June 6th, 11:45 am, following the Worship Service. Richard Jordan will lead this 6-week series, including the topics: evolution and creation, the reliability of the Bible, how we know God exists, why there is evil, and other topics.

Feel free to bring your own snack or lunch. See you there!
